Office Manager
Job Description
Richard's Party Rentals, a fixture in the Jersey Shore area for over 40 years, has now teamed up with Stylized Events to modernize, expand, and create amazing events of all kinds. From corporate celebrations to graduations to weddings and more, we bring the party.
We are actively seeking an extremely organized person as our front end manager in our Bayville location. The front end team is repsonsible for processing orders, both retail and rental, communicating details between customers & clients, delivery teams, and warehouse personnel. The Front end manager will be expected to work closely with Warehouse and Delivery personnel to schedule deliveries in a safe, efficient, and cost effective manner in order to ensure that our customer and clients receive deliveries as promised. Additionally, the manager will directly oversee the clerical staff, ensuring proper order entry and payment processing. Once trained, the manager will be responsible for training new clerical staff.
Our Business is seasonal, with the bulk of our business, (roughly 80%) occuring between May and September. The right applicant for this job will not only be available for those months but understand that their front end staff is generally seasonal employees who come and go for the summer. The winter months will be limited in staff and often times the manager may find that throughout the off season there will be days they will need to work alone. The right person for this job will be able to balance the extremely fast pace of the summer season with the winter down time.

Previous experience as an office manager or office administrator would be an advantage. A successful Office manager should have experience with general customer service, have worked in a retail environment, and be able to utilize windows based software, though on the job training will be provided for in house systems specific to our business, as well as product. Ultimately, the front office manager should be able to ensure the smooth running of the day to day operations of the location, be team oriented, customer focused, and possess a sincere desire to help improve company procedures.
Responsibilities
- Process, administer, and oversee customer and client orders from inquiry to completion, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Schedule deliveries in conjunction with the operations team in order to ensure that customer demands are met while maintaining safe and efficient delivery procedures.
- Organize and oversee the front end team, including, but not limited to scheduling, training, hiring, and delegating in order to maintain daily operations and effectively complete customer orders/deliveries.
- Maintain the office condition and arrange necessary maintenance and supplies.
- Work with HR/Ownership to update and maintain office policies as necessary
- Organize office operations and procedures.
- Ensure that all orders and invoices are paid and that daily sales are properly accounted for.
- Oversee additional operation support staff to ensure the timely fulfillment of orders.
- Provide general support to visitors, customers, and clients.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires
- Address employees queries regarding office management issues
Skills
- Proven experience as an Office manager, Front office manager or Administrative assistant
- Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
- Hands on experience with office machines. i.e. printers.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

Stylized Events @ Richard’s Party Rentals is actively seeking to add a talented, reliable, and highly organized member to our events team. The right person for this position will have extremely strong communication skills and a keen eye for style and design. This is a full time, year round, multifaceted position driven by client need and as such the appropriate candidate will need to have flexibility in scheduling. Nights and weekends will be required as well as some outside travel, typically limited to Ocean and Monmouth Counties.
