Weekend Wrap Up - Oct. 14th

Wow! Just Wow.

What else can we say?

A super cute venue.  Incredible details.

And an absolutely amazing couple.

This weekend was just an absolute dream!

Congratulations

Mark & Lisa

the ceremony

The Chapel at Allaire is an absolutely beautiful location for a wedding ceremony.  We opted for some minor details here to highlight the locations historic routes, without intruding on its natural beauty.  With a little help from @desireedeandesigns we were able to achieve that goal.

Pew Greenery

Just a touch of greenery along the pews, bringing in the natural elements.  Tied with Gold ribbon as a hint of what would be coming later.

Custom Welcome Sign

Finished in a gray with white wash, we handmade this sign to welcome the guests to the ceremony.

The Altar

We added a beautiful garland of greenery interspersed with roses to the altar and flanked the entrance with lanterns.

the venue

The Herbary is truly am amazing venue, with nooks and crannies full of beautiful things that just make you want to sit and enjoy nature. There are Gardens, a Coffee House, and rows and rows of plants and flowers, not to mention some super cute animals.

For our special couple we took the green house and transformed it into the dinning room.  We brought in a tent to house the dance floor, in case of rain, as well as the buffet table, making sure the party moved outside. And even utilized the onsite coffee house for the treats display.  We took full advantage of the grounds and boy was it worth it!  See the transformation below.

Treats Display

We got to use our new wooden soda crates for the first time in this display!  Mixed with our garden cart, unfinished crates, and lace table runners, the desserts looked ALMOST as good as they tasted.

Table Settings

We brought in round tables with white padded chairs. We set the tables with sand linens, gold chargers, disposable tableware, and yellow napkins. Added gold votives, our wood block table numbers and gold lanterns topped with florals for the center pieces.

Sweet Heart Table

Our Couple got to enjoy their meals at our sweetheart table and sat in the comfort of the often paired settee.  We added some more gold votive and elegant greens to add to the natural feeling, with a little help from Desiree @ DesireeDeanDesigns!

the welcome

We created a beautifully rustic grand entrance between the green house and main building of the venue, which allowed the guests to sign the guest book, view pictures, drop off cards and gifts, and find their table assignments.  There were just so many details here, like our rustic doors, our rustic card box, shutter accents, window pane accents, barn wood risers, lanterns, wood slices, chicken wire picture frame, and more. In fact, there were so many great looks here that you just have to see for yourself. So, just take a peak at the gallery below and be inspired.

Place Settings

Guests were greeted at their seats by a custom thank you card we created which featured a lovely olive branch image and a special message from the bride and groom. These were then placed beautifully atop the decorative disposable plates over gold chargers, with yellow linen napkins, and highly styled and durable disposable cutlery.

Centerpieces

The centerpieces turned out absolutely amazing, featuring lanterns in a brushed gold finish to accentuate the place settings.  We then topped them, with flowers and greens to coordinate with the greenhouse environment. We also tied in the rustic finishes with the wood block table numbers, and accented with gold votives to pull everything together.

The Vision

Once the sun set, the champagne was poured and the room was filled with the soft glow of LED candles from the lanterns and votives, the mood was set.  All the gold accents, gleamed with the flicker of the flames, and the bride's vision truly came to life.  The room was beautiful and filled with the aroma of fresh flowers, and the sound of joy.

After dinner and dancing the party moved to the Herbary's Coffee Shop where the couple cut their cake in a charming setting on the patio in front of the building.
