Weekend Wrap Up - March 9th
A double baby shower weekend! That's right not one, but two baby showers and if you are looking for some cute ideas for your next baby shower, both of these had amazing features. Each one had an incredible focal point, that we are certain will be the envy of some.
Baby Girl Grace
This shower turned out super cute! And had two main features. The first was the Mom-to-Be's place of honor, and the second was the balloon wall photo back drop.
Check out some of the details below.
Balloon Decor Centerpieces
The first thing you noticed upon entering this hall were the table settings. They were truly eye catching and featured two foot tall trumpet vases filled with tulle and accented with twinkle lights. We couldn't stop there, though and topped them with color coordinated balloon clusters! When all was said and done the centerpieces stood at a whopping four feet tall.
TIP: The height here was not just impressive to the eye, it was an intentional design element used to ensure that the balloons would NOT interfere with conversations across the table.
We used silver satin table runners over cream linens with pink napkins and then rounded out the table settings with a sprinkling of rose petals in coordinating colors.
The Mom to Be's place of honor
A balloon garland in pinks, silver, and white, that was accented with greenery highlighted our pink vintage chair. We added a large teddy bear and over-sized baby blocks filled with balloons in coordinating colors.
Though what really made this picturesque setting for the VIP, was the customized rocking horse and chair supplied by the client.
Balloon Wall Backdrop
Featuring over 300 balloons in the theme colors, this backdrop served as the perfect way to hide a "less-than-pretty" partition. Using tulle, greenery, and loose flowers to fill in, this balloon wall turned out to be an amazing photo op!
The highlight, of course was Baby Grace's name cut out in sparkly silver glitter cardstock.
Baby Boy James
This shower was all about the flowers! If ever there was a cute idea for a favor display it is the Flower Bar! Take a look below to see how this turned out to be an amazing feature!
The Flower Bar
Make a bouquet to take on your way!
This mom to be and her amazing family opted for a make your own bouquet bar as the favors for this baby shower! So, we did it up right using our vintage styled garden cart, pallet wall inspired backdrop, hammered tin floral canisters, and barnwood risers.
Baby in Bloom Bouquet Station
Though it would have been a beautiful display of flowers on its own, the flower bar did have a function. We set up a table with floral paper, burlap, lace and twine so the guests could create their bouquets and tie them up to take home.
We accented the table with a custom Baby in Bloom sign and books.
